Abstract

The phenomenon of Negotiating Murabahah Margin in Sharia Banking. The purpose of this research is to reveal the portrait of margin murabahah implementation through negotiation in sharia banking. This research used a qualitative approach to disciplined comperative case study. The results show that the door of negotiation is carried out on the initiation of the prospective customer. In general, margin negotiation is not done because the formulation has been through internal calculations and legalized sharia by DPS. However, there is a possibility of negotiating margin with a nominal requirement of murabahah financing above IDR. 1.000.000.000. the result of negotiations in the form of margin cuts depends entirely on the policy of the leadership of sharia banking
