POTENSI SUMBER DAYA LOKAL YANG DAPAT DIKEMBANGKAN DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN TARAF EKONOMI KELUARGA
Abstract
This study aims to identify the potential of local resources that can be utilized and developed in order to increase the level of family economy. The result of the research shows that the biggest employment for women in agriculture, forestry, plantation and fishery sector is 48.51%, followed by trade, hotel and restaurant / RM 19.18%, social services 18.23%, manufacturing 10.97%, and others by 3.11%. Some agricultural commodities, plantations, forestry and fisheries such as; sago, tubers, banana, durian, fish that produce every year is big enough and potentially developed into processed food that is economic value but still not optimally done. The position of Sub-district of Salahutu is geographically very strategic because it is the entrance for the people who are in the northern and eastern parts with the existing community in the southern and western hemispheres causing the rotation of economic wheels in this region is high enough so that if utilized optimally can improve the economic level of society
