Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of patient waiting time as an optimal form of service at the Polyclinic Hospital in Tulehu District Hospital, Central Maluku Regency. The analytical tool used is the MMI Queue Model Analysis. Where the analysis is used to determine the service facilities available. The results showed that the waiting time of patients waited between 0.07 minutes or 420 seconds at low time and up to 0.33 minutes or 1980 seconds at peak times before being examined by a doctor this was not appropriate as stated by the Royal Collage of Doctor ie patient waiting time should not exceed 30 minutes because if it exceeds the tolerance time the patient will start to get nervous.
