Abstract

This study aims to determine the ratio of power and torque with variations in turning the surface of the combustion chamber cover in the cylinder space of 0.3 mm, 0.6 mm and standard cylinder space as a comparison. In this study, researchers used an experimental method. From the results of research testing the compression pressure of the motor with standard conditions obtained a compression pressure of 11.5 Bar. The motor with a turning 0.3 mm has a compression pressure of 12.8 Bar. The motor with a turning 0.6 mm has a compression pressure of 13.5 Bar. This increase in compression forms the basis of increased vehicle power and torque. And the results of the power and torque testing that have been carried out where the standard cylinder room conditions produce the highest power at 7000 RPM at 4.9 HP, while the highest torque is obtained at 6000 RPM at 5.56 N.m. The cylinder chamber with a turning 0.3 mm produces the highest power at 7500 RPM at 6.7 HP, while the highest torque is obtained at 5500 RPM at 7.03 N.m. cylinder space with 0.6 mm turning variation produces the highest power at 7000 RPM at 6.96 HP, while the highest torque is obtained at 6000 RPM at 7.17 N.m. Based on the results that have been obtained both on the power and torque test results where better results are obtained on the turning surface of the combustion chamber cover on the cylinder head of 0.6 mm compared to the variation of turning 0.3 mm and standard cylinder chamber.
